
The soloists are Jessica Robinson (Soprano), Sian Cameron (Mezzo-Soprano) . Peter Wilman (Tenor) and Ryan Hugh Ross (Baritone). The Musical Director is Ben Pinnow and the Pianist is Laura Deenik
Petite Messe Solennelle was first performed on 14 March 1864 at the Rossini’s new home in Paris. It is famously described as being neither petite nor solemn. Regarded as a work that balances sacred reverence with operatic flair and theatrical delivery.

Jessica Robinson – Soprano
Welsh soprano Jessica Robinson graduated from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama with a first class honours degree, a distinction in MA Opera Performance. She represented Wales in the final of the BBC Cardiff Singer of the World in 2023. As an oratorio and concert soloist, Jessica regularly performs across the UK and internationally.

Sian Cameron – Mezzo Soprano
Siân Cameron is a graduate of Royal Academy of Music and Wales International Academy of Voice. She has worked with WNO Youth Opera for over 15 years. As a soloist she has sung many roles including, Sesto in La clemenza di Tito (Teatru Manoel, Malta); Cherubino in Le Nozze di Figaro (Kilden Theatre, Norway); Dorabella in Così fan tutte (Dubrovnik Summer Opera).

Peter Wilman – Tenor
Peter has sung much of the oratorio repertoire from Bach, Handel, Mozart and Haydn through to Verdi and Britten in concert halls and cathedrals across the UK. He has sung on numerous television and film soundtracks.

Ryan Hugh Ross – Baritone
Dutch / American Baritone Ryan Hugh Ross holds degrees from Southwest Minnesota State University, the Cole Conservatory of Music at California State University-Long Beach, and Wales International Academy of Voice where he studied with world-renowned tenor Dennis O’Neill CBE.
Ryan has enjoyed success on the concert and operatic stages, working with operatic luminaries such as Sir Bryn Terfel, Sir Simon Keenlyside, Joseph Calleja and Dame Kiri Te Kanawa, among others.
